VISIT THE ELDER FLOWER

When I first walked in the door and smelled the timber, I felt at ease. Strong and beautiful, the Elder Flower stands tall like the Valhalla Mountains she faces and enjoys the flow and healing colours of the Slocan River.

Located on 60km of riverfront walking/groomed cross-country ski trail, this home is constructed by wood joined beams milled right here in the valley.

This place has so many thoughtful supports to wellness: filtered water, incredible books, an organic pantry, a yoga deck, a yoga meditation and sound studio, an outdoor room in a double-walled canvas tent and the river and the wild at the door. Come practice yoga or meditation, walk in nature or browse the library of recovery literature, surrounded by like-minded people doing the same.

The yoga house is located 25-30 minutes from Nelson, BC

We would like to acknowledge The Elder Flower stands on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Sinixt Peoples. I make this acknowledgment to show my respect for the tmxʷulaʔxʷ (homeland), and Sinixt Nation. I feel privileged and grateful to be here, and I invite those reading this to explore their own relationship to place.

Enjoy your Journey!

The Elder flower is located just off Highway 6, Between Winlaw and Slocan Park.

The driveway is quite steep. If it is slippery, we suggest using four-wheel drive only. At the top, there is a cul-de-sac where you can park.

Come up the stairs and around back (towards the woods). You’ll enter into a warm, timber-framed home. Welcome!

The Elder Flower is a place of warmth and acceptance ~ a place where you feel like you belong even on your first visit.

It is a place where your mornings are met with locally grown tea, yoga, and sweet music and days spent in clean cold rivers, crystal forests, breathtaking hidden waterfalls, and enough spaciousness to remind you again of the magic that exists when we see each other and the world around us at it truly is. I will always want to be there.
